Abs Diet

There has never been a more perplexing time regarding proper nutrition. So many health gurus seem to conflict and disagree with each other on what's the best way to eat for fat loss and overall good health.

Your diet does not need to conform to any of the fad diets. You do not need to go low fat, low carb, or low / high anything, to successfully lose enough body fat, in order to get lean enough to be able to see your six pack abs.

A balance is the solution to success along when eating a diet that is made up of nutrient dense foods in their natural state which should be as unprocessed as possible.

Essentially, the heavy processing of foods is what creates chaos inside our bodies. Most foods in their natural unprocessed state are intrinsically good for us. This is a hot topic in the Truth About Abs eBook, where Mike Geary is very adamant about food choices.

Key aspects of nutrition

Abs DietEat enough high quality protein. It has a higher thermic effect than both carbs and fat, so you burn more calories digesting it.

It also creates enough satiety so your hunger is satisfied longer and is a building block for maintaining and building your lean muscles.

The amount of lean muscles that you carry is one of the main factors for controlling your metabolism.

Think fiber

Looking at carbs, ensure that most of your carbohydrate intake is from higher fiber sources like fruits, vegetables and high fiber unrefined grains.

Avoid eating refined sugars and grains as that is one of the main things that cause people to struggle with excess body fat.

Another benefit of fiber is that it helps fill you up and slow down the glycemic response of the foods you eat, thus contributing to a leaner body.

Eat Fat

Do not try to lower your dietary fat intake as this can negatively affect hormone levels in your body as well as causing you more cravings.

Rather, try to eat enough healthy fats daily that include all nuts and seeds, coconuts, olive oil, nut butters, organic meats and eggs and avocados.

But you must avoid the two worst things in your diet:

  • artificial trans fats from shortening, margarines and hydrogenated oils found in most processed foods
  • high fructose corn syrup found in almost all sweetened products on the market

Once more, if you stay away from processed foods, it becomes easy to avoid these two worst culprits in our food supply.

Focus on Balance

When you focus on these main diet points, you will gain control over your appetite, blood sugar levels and hormone levels.

And eventually, with good eating habits, you can once again take total control over how lean you want to get.

With that kind of abs diet control, your flat stomach will be visible in no time.
